Introduction
Child labour statistics describe the extent and characteristics of children engaged in work that is harmful or interferes with schooling. ILO estimates are based primarily on household survey data collected with national statistical offices. Detailed tools, microdata and survey documentation are available through the ILO’s Statistical Information and Monitoring Programme on Child Labour (SIMPOC).
